Dear batchmates,
Its pretty hard to believe that we have already ended our formal secondary shcool education.(Well, yes, we don't know how we did, but that can really wait.) Its even harder to believe that almost four years have gone by since we stepped into this school as bewildered and lost (and in some cases most unhappy) thirteen year olds. Three years since we entered the PB as PITs (what fun we had- I shall never forget all that drama (= ) Two years since we changed uniforms and discovered the pains of wearing a white shirt. Nine months since we came back to school and realised that we didn't have much time left together here. Because really, we don't.
You can say that we'll still see each other in JC, and that we won't lose touch ever, but somewhere deep down , I think we all know things are about to change a bit more than they already have. We are not going to see each other as much because of hectic schedules, heaven knows if we'll even want to see each other much anymore once we have cool new friends in JC, and we'll all begin to drift apart on separate roads we were bound to take some day. Which is why I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that we made a fabulous batch together.
It doesnt necessarily matter what fwah thought of us, or fiel and fea think of us. Sure, we won't the most efficient batch but hey, nobody's perfect. Essentially we played a pivotal part in the transition of the prefectorial board. We're not going to be here to see those changes but we were here to end one phase and set the next batch on its way to continue the next phase on this journey. And I can most assuredly say that I have no regrets about a single second I spent in the Prefectorial board, or doing any of the things that I did. I hope that all of you feel the same way too. It doesnt matter that all our contributions are not reflected in our grades because we could never have received the opportunities that we did here elsewhere. The opportunities to choose between right and wrong and take chances and cry and laugh and learn and ultimately to grow into better people who are more well equipped to deal with life than they were before they started on this journey. And these opportunities couldn't have come without every single person in this batch. Each of you has made this journey so unique, and have given so much of yourselves to making this a success. And for that I am truly thankful.

With love and best wishes,
Asiyah
